Under Construction | Land Port of Entry

Rendering of Land Port of Entry Facility

The Land Port of Entry (LPOE), for the Department of Homeland Security is a new facility located in Hamlin Maine. This building has been designed to aid in the protection of the border crossing between Canada and the United States of America.

The design of the LPOE building is sensitive to the fabric of the local and regional architectural vernacular. The building emulates the materials and colors of the neighboring community. By drawing from these influences, the LPOE will present an inviting and welcoming atmosphere to travelers, as well as create harmony with the architectural esthetics of the local community. In addition the building will be designed to be thermally efficient by the use of proper cold climate and LEED design principals.

Presentations | Eagle Mill

This movie describes the turbulent history of P&S Construction's Corporate Headquarters' office building. Eagle Mill burned down multiple times and was neglected for many years prior to P&S Construction discovering the beautiful Massachusetts landmark.

"We've engaged in such a positive project: it revitalizes a dilapidated building that was wearing on a residentital neighborhood; it is environmentally responsible; it preserves a historic building; and the employees of P&S Construction will work in a dynamic new space." - Robert W. Hannon, AIA, VP of Design

LEED | White Moutains Administrative Complex

White Mountains Administrative Complex, Campton, NH
With the first week of fall upon us, I always remember when P&S Construction went to the ribbon cutting ceremony in Campton, NH for the White Mountains Administrative Complex project. It was late September 2009 and it was the most ideal time to travel to northern New Hampshire and see the beautiful foliage and to celebrate the hard work and ultimate success of the Administrative Complex project.

What makes this building a standout in P&S Construction’s portfolio is the the massive steel structure frame, the 16 ft high concrete foundation, the beautiful and intricate wood work throughout the facility and the commitment the USDA/ Forest Services went to incorporate groundbreaking sustainable design and construction features.

Guam | NAVFAC Marianas Small Business MACC

Since June of last year, the marketing department has been focused on submitting proposals for the the NAVFAC Marianas Small Business Guam MACC that we -and along with six other small business contractors -are a part of.

The fun and challenging process enables the marketing department to collaborate with with the Design Team to compose narratives explaining our design approach and create renderings that depict our vision.

In March 2010, P&S Construction was awarded our first Guam contract for the NEX Minimart and Gas Station, Naval Base, Guam. The mini-mart facility will include retail sales, customer service, a receiving and storage area, employee facilities and a separate fast-food franchise.  The gas station will consist of at least six double-sided fuel-dispensing islands under full canopy for three grades of gasoline and diesel. The station will be complete with a tire refill area, auto-vacuum stations and a propane tank refill station for small consumer propane tanks. Work is currently underway with expected completion date of December of this year.  P&S Construction is excited to be working on a fun project like this and is thrilled to be a major part of the updating and modernization Naval Base Guam objectives.
